Area of Expertise

Since joining the team as a Brokerage Services Assistant at Colliers in 2005, Constance has managed numerous projects, including large proposals, power point presentations, marketing flyers and multi-property tour books, manipulating statistics, maps and graphics to form readable, comprehensive and attention-getting reports for the Brokerage teams she supports. Constance is detail-oriented, an excellent time manager, meets crucial deadlines, and adapts easily and quickly to ever-changing work environments.

Constance was promoted in 2008 to Senior Brokerage Services Assistant, and now is responsible for assisting to manage the downtown Minneapolis office, special marketing assignments, and mentoring other Assistants. During the downtown office’s frequent moves, she has been an integral part of planning and managing the process. Constance has strong leadership skills, which she has proven as a leader of our BSA Marketing Committee.

Prior to joining Colliers, Constance worked for ten years in the hotel industry, dividing her time between reservations, sales and wedding planning. The next ten years were spent in the restaurant business. Her last position took her all over the USA as head of a restaurant decor installation team, exploring antique malls in search of great deals on antiques and collectibles of all kinds. As the restaurant organization grew, Constance leased a warehouse and coordinated packing, shipping and transport of a semi trailer package of fixtures and decor to each new restaurant site, and budgeted the time needed for the installations. Later, she gained valuable experience working as an office manager for a downtown nightclub, and for an oriental healing center.

Constance’s strong interpersonal skills and outgoing personality make her well-equipped to handle the fast-paced, deadline-driven environment of commercial real estate. Demonstrating exceptional creativity, problem solving and communication skills, she responds to requests from brokers with professionalism and efficiency.

Community Service

Outside the office, Constance volunteers her time at Minnesota Public Radio throughout the year, and works every summer with a team for Hearts and Hammers, an organization which provides home improvement assistance for deserving senior and disabled homeowners. She is also a member of the Cathedral Choir at St. Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral in Minneapolis, and as an avid cross-country skier, volunteers for the American Birkebeiner organization and the City of Lakes Loppet Foundation.
